Tool Description:

CE-DOSFILE* is an optional file system for use with C EXECUTIVE. CE-DOS-FILE is compatible with the industry standard DOS file system used in 80x86 PCs. By using CE-DOSFILE, diskettes can be freely exchanged with standard 80x86- based DOS systems.
CE-DOSFILE has one significant extension to the standard DOS file system -- the ability to create contiguous files upon request. Standard DOS cannot guarantee contiguous files, which are required for high-performance data acquisition systems and other file-intensive real-time applications. With CE-DOSFILE, both standard non-contiguous files and contiguous files can be created. DOS can, of course, read both types of files.
CE-DOSFILE provides a field-proven, portable, standard file system adapted to a Real-time Kernel. CE-DOSFILE can be used on any 80x86 processor board. Source code for device drivers and configuration modules are included.
